Dance Alive National Ballet is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency in partnership with the Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural affairs and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture. DANB is also sponsored by the Southern Arts Federation, the City of Gainesville, Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs and a Tourist Development Tax Grant from the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners in conjunction with the Alachua County Tourist Development Council.
