BEN SLAYEN

 


Mr. Slayen joins Dance Alive National Ballet for his first season. He performed as soloist with The David Taylor Dance Theatre and Ballet Florida and has guested extensively throughout the United States.  Mr. Slayen is fleet, bright, and an addition to any company. He is adept at both classical and contemporary work and looks forward to creating many new roles with DANB. He has performed the roles of the Cavalier in The Nutcracker, the lead role in Balanchine’s ‘Who Cares’, the Bluebird from ‘Sleeping Beauty’, and lead male in Gregory Dawson’s ‘Eclipsing Venus’.

Why I dance:
I dance because I love being on stage, and couldn't imagine doing anything else
