LUIZA BOAVENTURA MELOMs. Melo, born in Brazil, trained in Uberlandiak, Minas Gerais-Brazil and graduated in the class of Guimar Boaventura in 2005. Among the prizes she has received are the Award revelation in the Dance Festival of Triangulo Mineiro-Uberlandia/Brazil, the silver medal at the Festival de Joinvill Ballet Competition, the bronze medal in the 13th Passo de Arte Indiaiatuba-Sao Paulo/Brazil, and the silver medal in Passo de Arts Minas Belo Horizonte/Brazil. She represented Brazil at the 9th International Ballet Competition in Moscow. In 2005 and 2008-2009, she jointed the Vortice Ballet company, and joined the Sesiminas Dance Company in 2006. In 2009 she graduated in Law from Uiniversidade Federal Uberlandia-MG/Brazil. She excels in the classical pas de deux, and has a joyous and exciting stage presence. Dance Alive National Ballet is proud to have Ms. Melo as a Principal Guest Artist for 2010-2011. Hometown: Uberlândia - Brazil
