DANCE PARTNERS

 

Dance Partners is a program designed to bring at-risk, disadvantaged, disabled and elderly person to mainstage productions at no cost to the individual. An average of 2000 persona attend annually. Some of the agencies that have participated in this program include:

DISCOVERING DANCE

“The Mainstage Experience” is a program that has been ongoing since 1976. Annually over 5,000 children from Alachua County and 14 surrounding counties are brought to daytime professional mainstage productions featuring Dance Alive National Ballet in the settings of the  University of Flrida’s Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Eastside High School, and Oak Hall Cofrin Theatre. Multidisciplinary curriculum materials are provided educators that address Florida’s Sunshine State Standards and FCAT requirements.
