Tim Heflin

Mr. Heflin, during his long career with the company, has danced leading roles in over 30 ballets including Spartacus, Dracula, Tom Jones, Cleopatra, Bolero, and Don Quixote. As the 'monster' in Frankenstein, Mr. Heflin allowed us to see a tortured soul, doomed by his very difference. In the erotic classic Bolero, he was the ultimate demanding, aggressive, powerful male. As 'Don Quixote' in Don Quixote, Mr. Heflin made us believe in the tragic hero who perseveres in the face of adversity. An exceptional partner, Mr. Heflin is at his best when performing dramatic roles. Mr. Heflin graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Chemistry. He has extensive training with Leo Ahonen and Bill Martin Viscount, former dancers with Kirov and Bolshoi Ballet. Mr. Heflin has performed as guest artist with the Texas and Fort Worth Ballet companies and was engaged by Zurich Ballet (Switzerland) for the 1984 -1985 season under Patricia Neary.
